CORONAVIRUS (COVID 19)  INFORMATION

NHS24 on 111 is now the first point of contact for all those with COVID-19 related symptoms.

If you have a medical emergency, phone 999 and tell them you have COVID-19 symptoms.

The front door is now closed and we are only seeing patients who have first been assessed by a member of our team over the phone.

If you have a fever, a cough or shortness of breath, you may have coronavirus.  If your symptoms are too severe to manage at home or you need advice about coronavirus, please phone 111

Coronavirus cases will not be seen at Leith Mount Surgery.

Please note that prescriptions are taking 48 hrs to process and a further 48 hrs for the pharmacists to dispense. 

We are still providing medical care for patients with non coronavirus symptoms. Please contact us if you have symptoms you are concerned about and in particular if you have symptoms which could be the first sign of cancer. It is important these symptoms are discussed and investigated promptly if necessary.

Leith Mount Surgery is a modern, GP medical practice in North East Edinburgh, with full disabled access and double buggy access. 

Our premises, on ground floor level, are located in Lindsay Street. Bus Numbers 10, 11, 16, 22, 34, 35, & 36 pass close by. 

Parking

We provide allocated parking spaces for our patients either side of the entrance to the surgery.

Two of those spaces are reserved for disabled persons blue badge holders only and are regularly patrolled by parking attendants.
